The Professor Mike U Iloeje academic award shall be awarded annually in the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira (N100,000) each year for the next ten years to the best graduating SS3 student in Mathematics.
Professor M. U Iloeje, an emeritus professor of Animal Genetics and former Deputy Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology Owerri, aims to reward academic excellence, install meritocracy and encourage and stimulate the study of mathematics in Mea Mater Elizabeth High School, Agbani.
